Design Story
The original idea, rebuilt for modern listening.
The original M20 was one of AAW's earliest launching models in 2015. In 2023, the name returns with digitized acoustic design, 3D printing, and NOVA driver technology.
This is not a race to add more drivers. M20 is about using a simple dual-armature architecture well: a large and fast bass armature woofer moves air with depth and layering, while the NOVA driver brings full-bodied vocal presence and fine ambience detail.
The result is a monitor designed for band performances, performing artists, worship events, audio engineering, and listeners who want an immersive, source-revealing experience without an oversized driver count.

The 3D-printed enclosure and acoustic chamber allow driver and nozzle placements to be tuned through simulation, then produced consistently. The NOVA armature sits deep in the nozzle to reduce pressure decay and resonance, while the bass armature forms the foundation.

The nozzle-less open vented armature is embedded deep into the 3D-printed nozzle, placing it closer to the eardrum to preserve pressure and control resonance. M20's blue-and-gold honeycomb faceplate uses an Electroless Immersion Gold process to hold complex geometry across a very small surface. The finish gives the monitor a clear visual identity without hiding the practical shell geometry underneath.
