AAW Z07 universal in-ear monitor worn over ear, showing the FitMorph adaptive fit and cable routing

Advanced AcousticWerkes

Those who listen will find the way.

In-ear monitors from Singapore since 2014. Over 30,000 monitors shipped to musicians, audio engineers, and audiophiles in 65 countries.

New universal

Z07Tubeless hybrid. Adaptive fit.

No tube between driver and ear. And a shell you can refit later - without ever changing the tuning.

FitMorph

Change the fit. Keep the sound.

The acoustic core stays put. The outer shell comes off. Try a different size, pass them to a bandmate, refit them a year from now - the tuning you bought is the tuning you keep.

Z07 FitMorph holders, screws, and acoustic core laid out
One core. Interchangeable shells. The driver assembly is permanent. Everything around it is not.
01

A seal you can rebuild

When the fit goes off - new ear tips, a different commute, two years of wear - swap the shell instead of the monitor.

02

No tube between driver and ear

Z07's hybrid core fires directly into the canal. No sound bores. No dampening filters in the path. Less compression, more of what the driver does.

03

The 2-pin socket lives in the shell

Replace a damaged socket without sending the monitor in for service. Cable swaps too - same 0.78mm 2-pin standard the industry uses.

About

Listening is where the work starts, and where it returns. It is how a shell becomes comfortable, how a crossover finds its voice, how a stage monitor earns trust, and how a personal IEM becomes the one a listener reaches for without thinking.

A monitor isn't done when it sounds good on a test bench. It's done when someone wears it for four hours on stage and forgets it's there.

Verified Buyer — Canary Pro5 / 5
All the great sounds in Canary. The sound can’t be better. I even started to listen to heavy rock and metal — music I hadn’t returned to in a very long time. An all-rounder that leads you all the way to top-notch, musically and emotionally.

Verified Buyer — Mockingbird5 / 5
The Mockingbird IEM + Aoraki cable combination is really enjoyable — mind-blowing. Known tracks across various genres (baroque, reggae, trance) are now more detailed. The gain doesn’t come at the cost of musicality; you can enjoy beautifully rendered tunes as a whole, or focus effortlessly on a counter-melody.
Bruno
Verified Buyer — Z065 / 5
I decided to buy the Z06 after about 45 minutes of listening at the showroom. Strong bass, clear and smooth vocals, good instrument separation, and detailed control of the treble. Music is spacious with a wide soundstage. Lively, easy to listen to over long sessions — slight warmth, very musical overall.

Verified Buyer — A3H+ Lux5 / 5
The A3H+ Lux was the best sound quality to price for me. I use them in a live stage setting, and the fit and seal of a custom mold made it a much better experience compared to my universal in-ear monitors. The ability to change sound signatures with the small switches was a big positive.

Verified Buyer — Halcyon5 / 5
The Halcyon paints a perfectly black background, with a smooth midrange and a nicely clean top end. Wide soundstage, instrumental separation, and placement are excellent. Hearing new musical instruments — especially in the treble — for the first time. Highly recommended.
Johnson
Verified Buyer — POLA5 / 5
With the airy soundstage, sweet treble, smooth mids, and tight, controlled bass, it’s a new and great experience listening to female jazz vocals with POLA. Great work to AAW and Shozy.

Verified Buyer — Z024 / 5
Standout bass quality with great slam and precision. Midrange is open, with good detail retrieval and instrument layering. Darker tracks, or those with less excitable treble presentation, sound great.

FAQ

Quick answers about AAW.

What does AAW specialize in?

Advanced AcousticWerkes specializes in custom and universal in-ear monitors from Singapore. The range covers custom IEMs made from ear impressions, universal-fit monitors such as the Z Series, and long-term support for refits, cables, shells, sockets, and repair work.

What is the difference between universal and custom IEMs?

Universal IEMs use ear tips and can fit many listeners, which makes them easier to demo, share, and travel with. Custom IEMs are made from your ear impressions or approved digital scans, so they seal around your ears only and allow more freedom in shell shape, artwork, and fit tuning.

Do I need ear impressions for a CIEM?

Yes. AAW needs physical impressions from an audiologist or an approved digital ear scan before building a custom in-ear monitor. Accurate impressions are critical because the acoustic seal affects bass, isolation, comfort, and whether the finished monitor can be worn for long sessions.

Can AAW help with refits or repairs?

Yes. The Singapore office handles refit, warranty, repair, cable, socket, and shell service for AAW monitors. If you bought through an authorized dealer, that dealer is often the fastest first stop, but the work is still supported through AAW's service process.

Where can I audition or order AAW?

In Singapore, listeners can start at the AAW office at 76 Playfair Rd, #01-03, or audition through Zeppelin & Co., JABEN, and AV One. Outside Singapore, AAW works with authorized specialist audio dealers; use the store locator or contact support@aaw.me for the closest listening point.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. AAW ships to international customers from Singapore, and available shipping options are shown at checkout based on your country and address. Delivery time depends on whether the monitor is ready-to-ship, made to order, or custom-built from impressions. Import duties, VAT, brokerage fees, and local taxes are set by your destination country and are normally paid by the buyer on arrival. If your country is not available at checkout, contact support@aaw.me before ordering.

Where are AAW monitors manufactured?

AAW monitors are designed and tuned from Singapore. Production is handled through AAW's wholly owned lab in Shenzhen, with Singapore-led acoustic reference work, measurement, service, and customer support.
