A dynamic-planar hybrid with AAW digital acoustic design.
Z02 pairs a 10mm graphene dynamic driver with a miniature planar magnetic tweeter in a single compact universal. The dynamic supplies low-end weight that all-BA designs can't quite reach; the planar keeps vocals and treble clean, extended, and free of the tube resonance that comes with traditional balanced armature treble paths.
The planar magnetic tweeter is embedded deep into the Z02's 3D-printed shell. Its dedicated cavity design eliminates sound pressure decay and unwanted resonance common to traditional tubed balanced armature designs. The thin diaphragm responds quickly to signal changes, giving Z02 accurate dynamics, low distortion, and a consistent soundstage.
With a wholly digitized design process, Z02 employs AAW third-generation digital enclosure and acoustic chamber design. Driver and nozzle placements are simulated through hundreds of iterations to determine ideal phasing and response, then 3D printed to precision for production consistency.
