Design Story
Blue fire, black shell, fast air.
Canary Pro refines the original Canary formula into a denser, more controlled architecture. The faceplate keeps the electric, fractured-color identity that defined Canary. The acoustic design underneath is tighter and more deliberate.
A dual-diaphragm isobaric woofer system moves more air without asking the shell to grow. Four electrostatic super tweeters carry the top octave and spatial cues. Eight balanced armatures fill the range in between, with a five-way crossover keeping each driver group in its lane.
The result is a flagship that stays fast, vivid, and layered — without thinning out the weight that keeps instruments believable.
Exploded View
Fourteen drivers in a wearable shell
The exploded view walks through the signal path: 2-pin socket, acoustic chamber, balanced armature arrays, electrostatic modules, isobaric woofer system, precision shell, stainless nozzle, and the Canary Pro faceplate — all stacked into a monitor that sits comfortably in the ear.
Transducer Architecture
Fourteen drivers, five bands, one flat load.
Canary Pro earns its driver count through the division of work. The five-way passive crossover splits the signal by frequency band. SLFI reshapes the electrical load so the monitor stays near 7 Ohm across the audible range — no wild swings when you switch from a dongle to a desktop amp.
Dual isobaric dynamic diaphragms create low-end pressure with cleaner excursion control.
Dedicated balanced armatures bridge bass weight into the lower mids without clouding the center image.
Vocal body, instrumental tone, and the information that makes a mix feel human.
Presence, snap, and upper harmonics, separated before the EST array takes over.
Electrostatic super tweeters supply extension, air, and the fine spatial layer above conventional armatures.
Super-Low Flat Impedance
The tuning stays put.
Most multi-driver IEMs shift tonal balance when the source impedance changes. SLFI reshapes the balanced armature load from inductive toward resistive, holding impedance near 7 Ohm across the frequency range. The result is one tuning that stays put — whether you're on a dongle, a DAP, or a full desktop chain.
Source-to-source consistency
The bass, midrange, and treble balance holds shape when you switch between players, adapters, and amplifiers.
Clean crossover handoff
A stable electrical load lets the five-way crossover divide work between drivers without the bands pulling each other out of shape.
Repeatable listening
What you hear at a desk, on a portable rig, or at a show stays close to the intended Canary Pro tuning.
Flat across frequency, not just a single nominal number.
Balanced armatures are managed away from source-sensitive inductive swings.
More reliable tone across portable and desktop source chains.
3D Printed Acoustic System
Printed chamber, metal nozzle, tuned path lengths.
The enclosure and woofer acoustic chamber are printed separately, then assembled into a nozzle system that controls path length and pressure. The digital workflow keeps the driver matrix consistent from pair to pair.
Simulation determines phasing and placement. Printing turns that geometry into a repeatable acoustic structure. Hand finishing gives the shell its final surface and fit.
Signature Faceplate
Each pair catches light differently.
Canary Pro's faceplate layers natural pearl with synthesized material, cut and placed by hand. The surface shifts from deep blue through green, gold, and violet as it moves. It is precise enough to read as engineered, but the pattern never repeats.
Canary Identity
Singapore color, built for the world.
The Canary Pro artwork carries AAW's Singapore origin: Merlion, skyline, orchid, tropical water, and canary motifs frame the monitor like a provenance mark. It places Canary Pro as a Singapore-built flagship, designed to move from local listening rooms to stages and meetups worldwide.
Cabling and Fit
Built as a complete listening kit.
Lune cable
48 inch Null Audio Lune premium cable with 4.4mm balanced termination, chosen to keep the signal path clean and quiet.
Universal or custom
The universal model ships with a full tip selection. Custom-fit monitors are shaped directly from ear impressions and do not need tips.
Carry and care
Leather carry case, cleaning tool, owner's club card, and a practical accessory kit for daily use.
Source friendly
SLFI reduces source sensitivity, so the same monitor behaves more consistently across players and amplifiers.
Specifications
Fast, dense, extended.
Canary Pro is tuned for a vivid, high-contrast presentation: sub-bass control from the isobaric woofer pair, midrange clarity from the balanced armatures, and airy extension from the electrostatic quad.

Built by Advanced AcousticWerkes
Singapore IEM craft, shaped by listening.
Those who listen will find the way.
Advanced AcousticWerkes, known as AAW, is a Singapore-based in-ear monitor specialist founded in 2014 by Kevin Wang. From custom IEM work to hybrid, electrostatic, planar, isobaric, and modular-fit designs, AAW works around one principle: every monitor has to prove itself through listening.
Canary Pro continues that line with a 14-driver tri-hybrid engine, quad electrostatic super tweeters, dual isobaric woofers, SLFI, and a tuning built to stay consistent from source to source.

FAQ
Before you choose Canary Pro
What makes Canary Pro different from the original Canary?
Canary Pro keeps the hybrid Canary identity but rebuilds it around a 14-driver matrix: quad electrostatic super tweeters, dual isobaric dynamic woofers, eight balanced armatures, a 5-way passive crossover, and Super-Low Flat Impedance for consistent source pairing.
What is the driver configuration?
2 isobaric dynamic woofers, 2 low-range BA, 2 mid-range BA, 4 mid-high BA, and 4 electrostatic super tweeters. The five driver groups are managed by a 5-way passive crossover.
What does SLFI do and why does it matter?
Super-Low Flat Impedance reshapes the balanced armature electrical load from inductive toward resistive, holding the monitor near 7 Ohm across the frequency range. This reduces tonal shifts when switching between sources with different output impedances — dongle, DAP, or desktop.
What is the isobaric woofer system?
Two dynamic drivers are arranged in an isobaric (constant-pressure) configuration. This doubles the effective diaphragm area for better low-end control without increasing the shell size.
Is Canary Pro suitable for stage monitoring?
Yes. Canary Pro is designed for critical listening and professional use. The custom-fit option provides additional isolation and stability for stage work. Final suitability depends on personal fit, isolation needs, and monitoring level.
What source is recommended for Canary Pro?
With 106dB sensitivity and a flat 7 Ohm impedance, Canary Pro pairs well with most portable players, dongles, DAPs, and desktop amplifiers. A clean, low-output-impedance source is recommended for lowest noise floor.
What is the difference between universal and custom fit?
The universal model ships with SpinFit silicone tips, AAW foam tips, and assorted silicone tips for an immediate fit. Custom-fit monitors are shaped from ear impressions for a personalized seal. Both share the same 14-driver acoustic design.
What comes in the box?
Canary Pro includes a 48-inch Null Audio Lune cable with 4.4mm balanced termination, leather carry case, cleaning tool, owner's club card, SpinFit silicone tips, AAW foam tips, assorted silicone tips, and a 1-year limited warranty.
Does Canary Pro come with a warranty?
Yes. Canary Pro includes a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal use. For support, contact AAW Singapore or the authorized dealer where you purchased it.
Where can I demo Canary Pro?
In Singapore, you can audition Canary Pro at the AAW Office, Zeppelin & Co., JABEN, or AV One. Outside Singapore, AAW works with specialist audio stores across Hong Kong, Japan, China, South Korea, and Thailand. Use the store locator to find the closest listening point.
