Beautiful and comfortable headphones. Very detailed and rich sound. Headphones are very smooth in sound. Butt joints, as in hybrids, are completely silent.

The combination Mockingbird iem + Aoraki cable is really enjoyable, i.e. mind-blowing! Known tracks of various genres (baroque, reggae, trance, ...) are now more detailed. This gain doesn't come at the cost of musicality; you can enjoy beautifully rendered tunes as a whole or focus effortlessly on a counter melody!
I haven't tried them with my phone yet but they are easily driven by an Hiby R6 balanced output, so there shouldn't be any problem.
The only "warning" I would like to share is that these iem are thick (for a good reason, 1 dynamic driver + 2 mid BA + 2 high BA take some space). I own the universal version and they tend to get out of my ears when I get agitated. My advice would be to get the custom version to enhance insertion into the ears.
Anyway this is nothing compared to the pure audio bliss these iem represent!

First i want write positive impression, like rapid delivery also using economico shipment. In addition no custom duties. But te earphone was packed orribly in plastic bag without pouch or bag. But, the worst was that tips (just six S/M/L) was not for W900 (probable 200 instead 500).Not a good deal.

I bought a pair of AAW W500 late 2017 and could never use it due to catastrophic fit. I don't know where it went wrong: myself, the audiologist (prints checked by photos by AAW before buying, I had to go to a second audiologist) or AAW. But in my opinion, the whole process is unsound: when the fit is not correct, it is incredibly difficult for the final user to guess what's exactly wrong. Do we need no remove some thickness here, or to add some thickness here? It turns out to be a "guess game", with a lot of time and money loss for both parties. (Sendind the earbuds to AAW would cost me about 50EUR (60USD) each time, plus there is a risk of tax or parcel loss). Finally, the process was so time consuming and, to avoid additional money loss, I decided not to return the earbuds for re-fit. So I have been having 1000EUR earbuds taking dust on my desk for more than a year. That's, by far, the most disappointing audio buy I ever made...

Fit feels great, W900 definitely is something special. Phenomenal sound!

Technically this is strong at all aspects but somehow all the musicality is still present, many other technically strong earphones seem to result in a clinical feel.
With the W900 you get a smoothness, even in all the complexity, the signature is so very well balanced across the whole spectrum.

As I’m sure you can tell I really am impressed with the W900 and it has the perfect balance between musicality and reference.

Sound stage is so very expansive and the signature coherence really gives a level of refinement, placing the W900 in amongst the top tier league of high end earphones.

Perfect combination with Vitesse Cryo 7N CGOCC-A Pure Silver Earphone Cable with the W500.Wide soundstage,sweet vocal ,punchy bass..No regrets for the first CIEM that i have bought.Hope for more improvement after the burn in period.

This is my first CIEM, and would probably be the last.

I would definitely recommend this IEM if you’re into treble, clarity and brightness with a significant depth of soundstage. This IEM is more focus on the higher fq rather than lower, the bass is just right without engulfing the highs of the music. I placed the ordered with the Lune cable hence pairing it with the best economical combination available from Null Audio and have not regretted my choice since.

I was service by ZX at the studio and she was extremely nice! Fitting done by her was extremely good and comfortable, didn’t had to go back for a refit. If you’re new into CIEM and don’t mind cost, it will be an good investment for the next few years.

The sound comes to life and it's very comfortable in the ears, a really unique and promising warm sound signature with its balanced treble energy, quite good layering ability.
Its black background and low frequency naturalness; the craftsmanship and comfort is top notch.
The W500 AHMorph has the addictive bass and it gives W500 a bit of its warm tonality and plus the wide soundstage,
till tend to forget that it was there because you to immersed in the great eargasmic experience.
Oh, and the switch. I'm glad to choice AHMorph. It's more fun than W500. I preferences the tune between Blue and Yellow point. In this tune,(Compare with the Mix tune yellow point) it bring the vocal closer, more deep soundstage, more prominent and slightly more natural hits.

The W900 a hybrid reference monitor with good layering, imaging and instrument separation. It is easy to pick up alot of details and instrument positions with this monitor.

The mids have enough body without being overly forward or aggressive, making vocals a pleasure to listen to.

The bass is another strong trait of the W900, the strong, impactful bass kicks in at the right time and moment with great control.

For years, I have been more accustomed to a warmer/fuller sound signature such as the fitears/westone monitors, but owning a W900 made me appreciate what a hybrid reference monitor can do; bringing out immense amount of details in an exciting manner.

Deep bass, sparkling treble, forward mids. Really nothing to be desired, it's really end game quality!!

To start off, i am not a advanced reviewer who can describe a piece of equipment in detail technical aspect. But i would like to share my experience of my W900. i was auditioning W500 back in Nov and really like the bass it was delivering. I then sent a msg to Kevin and realized that W900 will be launching and he was asking if i would like to hold on for a while. When i auditioned the W900 for the first time, i didnt find it as intriguing as W500. The bass didnt seem as impressive as the W500. In fact it sounded a little flat to my taste as i was looking for a V-shape sound signature. However, i noticed that the W900 was a very revealing piece of iem. I could suddenly hear a lot of details that i did not hear before. Essentially it was like upgrading from full HD to 4K. I therefore made the leap and ordered a pair. Now, I am getting hooked to W900 as i am rediscovering all the albums that i have with even more details that i have never heard before. As for the build, they were very well built with no bubbles or flaws. i have requested for custom artwork for my order and they look lovely when i got them. Although there was some fitting issues but it was resolved promptly and now i have perfect fit and sealage. Fantastic job to the guys at AAW.

It is airy and spacious, very detailed, and musical without being too colored. What is particlulary impressive, is that besides have 9BA + 1dynamic, they sound very coherent. The bass is very punchy but tight, controlled and detailed. Mids are clear and even, high are extended yet completely smooth and non peaky. Some could think the highs are not so sparkly but I like this sound, it is not fatiguing yet technical.

All in all, if you look for a great reference all rounder, you should consider these.

The Good:I have been looking for a set of high end monitors that are not simply flat or too analytical. These deliver all that I have been looking for and so much more, in the sense that it offers the exciting sound that I was looking for but could not find for so long. The sound is very clean but you still have a nice bottom end bump while maintaining accuracy.

The Not so good: I do wish however that there was some grippy section or indentation to make removal easier. The cable while good tend to be a bit sticky and should really be about 5 inches longer. The final bad thing about these is that weird people would want to touch it simply because it is different and then simply dump it back on your desk if you are not careful...treating it like your regular I-buds, so it would be best not to let people touch it.
