A3H+ Lux

A3H+ Lux CIEM was an excellent choice in that price range. These are hidden gems, and can out perform some of the well know brands. The custom shell and fit took approximately 8 weeks to complete, and around 4 days to receive in the USA.
The A3H+ Lux sound can bounce between 'neutral/cold' and 'neutral/warm' depending on the media you are listening to. It has an impressive low end, crisp vocals/mids and highs. All detailed and articulate.
The bass is punchy with emphasis on the mid bass as opposed to Sub Bass/Deep Bass (IMO). The bass hits nicely and powerful. it's crisp and accentuates the track without mudding the mids or vocals.
The soundstage is airy and a bit narrow, which for me is perfect. I find that too much air can result in a hollow sounding experience with some distortion. The vocals are clear and detailed. I would say that the
A3H+ Lux has a V shaped sound signature, balanced and accurate.
These have a spectacular three-dimensional sense of separation. Meaning... you can hear every instrument being played as it moves all around you while separate from the mids/vocals.
The A3H+ Lux also comes with 4 signature sound settings that you can adjust to your liking. (Vocal, Normal, Vocal +, and Bass)
*This IEM does not do well with bass boosted tracks. If you prefer majority of bass boosted music, these aren't the ears for you.
The A3H+ Lux is a versatile IEM.. meaning - (depending on your DAPs power/ and settings) you can tweak the vocals by moving them to the front of the soundstage or bring the vocals to the middle of the soundstage and let the music encase the vocals.
*CONS -
SubBass /Mid Bass is great, but I wish they would hit a little harder in the deep bass range. I have yet to find an IEM that can successfully pull it off.
A side note to AAW- please make an IEM that can render rumbling Deep bass while maintaining that wonderful upper/mids/vocal clarity.

It's been days testing the AAW A3H+ with my old but reliable Lune MKV cable and I'm impressed. Before the A3H (and now the A3H+), I had the Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10Pro and ended up missing the powerful bass from the UETF10P when I stepped up to the A3H but ended up liking the A3H because it was a massive improvement in every other area. That is...until I got the A3H+. This one improves upon the A3H in the mids and lows massively. It's clearer and the bass is definitely way more than I expected. I even had to lower the bass a bit using an Equalizer because it's that much more powerful than A3H's. It'll take a while getting used to these improvements but I do not regret at all getting the A3H+. I now coupled the A3H with the Nyx BT5 cable. Using both units with SpinFit CP145 eartips. I highly recommend it.

Just got mine yesterday. Perfect fit and really PRO sound. Seems that I got a free update to the ETHOS 5N cable as well. Don't know if the A3H Pro comes with this cable all the time or I was just lucky. Anyway, good product, worth the price and the wait.

I had a chance to demo the unit along with some of their other offerings at their office, and the A3H+ Lux was the best sound quality to price for me.
I got my impressions done in their office, which was very quick and easy.
They took about 9 weeks from purchase date to when I got them at my doorstep in the US. (~8 weeks to make, then 5 days to ship to my doorstep)
I use them in a live stage setting, and the fit and seal of a custom mold made it a much better experience compared to my universals in ear monitors.
Having the ability to change sound signatures with the small switches on the IEM was a big positive.
I got the carbon fiber faceplates and they look great!
Overall, these are great CIEMs for those who are just getting into custom in ears monitors, and can't set aside the budget for the larger name brands or the higher end models from AAW.

The IEM is well made with aluminium enclosure and the cable is good quality Epsilon. It is a very interesting IEM with 4 options of sound signature through switching by a mechanical switch. It has been a great experience for me. So far, I am enjoying the sound signature option in ‘Bass’ setting.

Value for money and the IEM gorgeous! As with previous experience, AAW IEMs are a bit unique and they do sound very different with different cables. I have had sets that sound muffled opened up with the right cabling. With A3H, it sounds borderline sibilant with some tracks but I guess its dependent on individual hearing. I changed the cable and it sounded wonderful for me thereafter!

There are a lot of designs to choose from and it makes it so easy to customize to one that you like. On top of that, there are 4 different eq settings for your perusal. Sound quality is amazing. Fitting is perfect.

One of the best bluetooth setups I've tried with minimal drops and distortion. The A3H+ is punchy brings life to the music.

Great craftsmanship, I own other IEMs and AAWs are at the top as far as precision and build is concerned. Middle and high frequencies are slightly more pronounced, so EQ needs to be applied for my taste other people may prefer it the way they are. All in all great value for money.

Beautiful iem. Have not ready burn in but from first listening, it is quite balanced iem.

Ordered it and did my ear impressions at the store. Item was slightly delayed due to CNY holiday but it came in a nice package with accessories.
Had to send one side of the IEM for a refit and retuning, hopeful everything will turn out well when I get it back.

A3H+ Wireless In-Ear Monitor

A3H offers the best balance in terms of frequency response , awesome clarity without being harsh. It's very musical and engaging. It's finely tuned as a very resolving stage monitor. Would highly recommend it to any professional looking for the best sound and texture. I've compared it to much more expensive and fancy IEM and A3H scores higher for it's perfectly balanced sound that's not artificial or metallic like most BA based models, at any price range. Solid 5 stars for this outstanding monitor!

Now in my 70's I've traded my audiophile ways in for the convenience of MP3s and flac files played on MP3 players... I realize there's a dropoff in musical info and I can hear the difference, but the convenience takes precedence, so I try to make up for it with using quality players such as Cowon Plenue players and IEMs such as the old Audeo PFE 232 and what had been my most recent phones, the Shure SE535. Having never been satisfied with the Shures but so regretful the Audeos are no longer made, I decided to finally try something from Null..... The A3H has been amazing..... My reaction to its greatest attributes are in the title, SOUNDSTAGE, PUNCH, FIT, WARMTH, AND CLARITY. Soundstage is what hit me first.... Not since my electrostatic days have I been able to experience such a defined soundstage... I'm hearing instruments and their location on the stage like I've not heard before, and discovering instruments I had forgotten were there when I listen to my old standby teest songs from the audiophile days... it's quite startling to hear even from an MP3. Of course the info has to be there in the first place but if it's on the MP3, you'll hear it like never before thru these.... And though I'm not really a bass centric listener as so many are (I concentrate on midrange where voices live), it's amazing how the A3H brings out the punch in drum lines and bass lines without overemphasizing... AS far as fit, I suspect what the A3H does for fit is not unusual for many, but when compared to the way the Shures fit in my ear, I was surprised at how easily these seal while lying flat in the ear.... Love it! And as far as my midrange, where there's where I experience the warmth of vocals and clarity is across the board.... I couldnt' be happier with my purchase... One other attribute I've discovered that differentiates these from my prior phones... It's extraordinarily exciting to hear just how much better these sound the louder you play them... That might sound ...

Nice workmanship

Used it for the last 3 years; wonderful for both on stage monitoring and off stage casual listening. Love them!

Came from an 11 year old UE10 TripleFi with the Lune Mark V cable. These have a very different sound signature. Soundstage is definitely clearer and instrument separation is in another league. These don't need that much help from an equalizer like my UE10. This is a keeper and feels (as it sounds) very high quality in your hands.

Good soun but lacks a little bass

The customs are fantastic. Superb sound quality with not much to complain about. However, customer service needs work. I've messaged a few times about sound unbalance issue and requested for alternatives if I cannot make it down to the store after work. No response on that.
